Breaststroke, also called breaststroke
History of Ailton Assis - Mato Grosso, Brasil
Breaststroke, also called breaststroke, is a swimming technique where swimmers perform synchronized movements of their legs and arms. It involves a frog-like leg kick and arm movements that push water backwards. Although challenging in terms of technique, it is popular among beginner swimmers. Used in short distance competitions such as 100 and 200 meter breaststroke, it is also practiced recreationally and as part of aquatic exercise programs due to its fitness benefits.
