The production premiere took place on November 25, 2019. Airing was interrupted on March 21, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after 102 chapters aired. The resumption of recording took place on August 10, and the telenovela returned to the air on September 18, 2020, in a twelve-chapter compact. Following, the second part was shown from March 15 to April 9, 2021, with 23 more unpublished chapters. Its replacement was the reprise of Império (2014–15), since the worsening of the pandemic and the restrictions imposed by the city of Rio de Janeiro affected the production of the unprecedented plot of Um Lugar ao Sol.
