After five years under CRM control, Rick Grimes has tried to escape several times without success. He eventually accepts an offer to join the CRM as a soldier. Meanwhile, Michonne desperately searches for Rick, facing challenges and dangers. Eventually, the two are reunited when Michonne attacks a CRM helicopter. They plan to escape together, but are confronted by Jadis, a CRM figure. After a series of events, including betrayals and confrontations, Michonne and Rick finally manage to escape together in a daring escape.
