Playa Cas Abao is a private beach in the northwest of Curaçao, originating from a 1696 plantation that became a resort in 1980. It offers crystal clear waters, snorkeling areas, restaurants and bars. The beach is well maintained, suitable for families, with shaded areas and pebbles in the sand. An anchored pier provides sunbathing and easy access to the water. Recommended for water activities, such as snorkeling and diving, it offers spectacular underwater views with tropical fish, seahorses and turtles. Angelfish, parrotfish and Muraena can also be observed.
A praia é excelente para snorkeling, especialmente perto das rochas onde há mais peixes. A presença de detritos na areia, especialmente resquícios de corais, sugere o uso de sapatos de neoprene. - by Sônia Caetano, Brasil
