Pandemic is a cooperative board game where players work together to combat and control the spread of deadly diseases. The main objective is to find cures for four diseases before they spread across the world and cause a global pandemic. Each player takes on the role of an expert with unique abilities, and everyone must work as a team to deal with the situation. The board represents a world map with cities, and diseases are represented by colored cubes. Players travel between cities, treat illnesses, build research stations and share information. Each round, players take strategic actions to contain the spread of disease. Epidemics occur randomly, intensifying the spread of disease. The game ends if all four cures are discovered or if the diseases spread too far.
