In 1981, Nintendo wanted to establish itself in Tukwila, Washington. When company employees arrived to rent the place, they were met by Mario Segale, the owner of the property. Segale was a man of short stature who wore braces on his attire. He collected late rents and ended up tagging Nintendo employees who were there that day. Sadly, Mario Segale passed away in 2018.
