The team responsible for the film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" visited several British schools in order to find young actors for the three protagonists. Emma Watson, who had never acted before, was very anxious to find herself surrounded by 20 other candidates for the role of Hermione. The actress confessed that she felt intimidated, as the other girls had more experience and had a good relationship with the other two candidates for Harry. However, she believed the character was ideal for her.
