In my opinion, the central plot of "Segundo Sol" involving the character Luzia is fragile and not very interesting, with a shallow protagonist and a male protagonist who does not have much depth. This is João Emanuel Carneiro's first telenovela with a weak central plot, but with more engaging parallel stories, such as the development of the character Rosa and Nice's relationship with her abusive husband, Agenor. Overall, these side stories are more compelling than the central plot involving Luzia.
