Dogo Argentino
Dogo Argentino is a dog breed originating from Argentina, developed mainly to hunt large animals, such as wild boars and pumas. It was created in the 1920s by Antonio Nores Martínez, who wanted a powerful, resistant and courageous dog. It is recognized for its muscular and athletic appearance, with a short, white coat. They are known for their loyalty, courage and intelligence, as well as being excellent guard dogs and family companions. However, due to their strong and dominant nature, they require early socialization and consistent training from a young age. Furthermore, they need plenty of physical exercise to stay healthy and happy. They may be predisposed to certain health conditions, such as deafness, hip dysplasia and skin problems, so it is important to take good care of their health with regular visits to the vet and a proper diet.
