The English Bulldog, despite its robust appearance, is actually an affectionate and playful dog, perfect for families. Originally from England, its history goes back to its use in violent bull fighting sports, but over time, its personality has softened, becoming a gentle companion. They are known for their loyalty, although they can be a bit stubborn during training. When young, they love playing with children, but tend to calm down with age. Due to their flat snout, they can be sensitive to heat and prone to respiratory problems. If bored, they can become destructive and may snore due to their peculiar anatomy. They need regular cleaning of facial wrinkles and weekly brushing. and moderate physical activity, such as around 30 minutes of exercise daily, is enough to keep them healthy and happy.
