Portuguese EN 9th grade: Writing: Texturing
Textualization is the writing phase of the text, in which the planned ideas are transformed into sentences and paragraphs.
In this stage it is important to:
develop each idea with explanations and examples;
organize the text into clear paragraphs;
use appropriate and precise vocabulary;
use discourse connectors to link ideas.
Examples of connectors:
addition: moreover, also
cause: because, due to
consequence: therefore, so
opposition: but, however
It is also important to ensure:
cohesion – connection between sentences and words;
coherence – logical meaning of ideas.
Good textualization makes the text clear, organized, and easy to understand.
