December 24th Christmas Eve
December 24th Christmas Eve is a celebration that takes place on the eve of Christmas Day. It is a night of family reunion and celebration in many cultures around the world. Its origin dates back to the birth of Jesus Christ, which, according to Christian tradition, took place on the night of December 24th in Bethlehem, Palestine. Christmas, as a Christian festival, began to be celebrated in the 4th century, although the birth of Jesus was already an important date for the first Christians. The choice of the date of December 25th to celebrate the birth of Jesus was made by the Roman emperor Aurelian in the 3rd century, but it was only in the 4th century that the Christian Church consolidated this date as the official date for the celebration. The night before, December 24th, became a time of vigil and preparation for the big day, and thus, Christmas Eve became an integral part of the celebration.
