The film is based on an American series of the same name that aired between 1966 and 1973 and follows a secret government agency called Impossible Missions Force. The producers had the idea that for the second film they would adapt the soundtrack. With that, bands from each country where the film was released were called to sing some extra songs in English. In Brazil, the band Raimundos sang Give My Bullet Back.
