In the film Queen's Gambit, we follow the journey of Beth, who fights for gender equality in Chess in the 60s. It is an inspiring story about someone who did not accept the limits imposed on women and strived to change the status quo. From her efforts, the World Chess Championship gained the name "open" instead of "male", allowing all players to participate, regardless of gender. Such a change was possible due to the efforts of Susan Polgár, a young Hungarian woman who refused to accept gender differences in chess.
