Turkish Van

Turkish Van cats have a distinctive appearance, with a robust, muscular body. They have soft, silky fur, generally white, with colorful spots on the head and base of the tail. Their tails are long and furry, often with a ring pattern at the tip. A striking feature is the color of their eyes. They have large, expressive almond-shaped eyes that can be different colors, ranging from blue to amber. Some cats of this breed may even have different colored eyes, a condition called heterochromia. They are known for their unique and outgoing personality. An unusual feature of these cats is their affinity for water. There is no pathological history related to this breed, but it requires a vaccination program and regular parasite control.
