Snowshoe
Snowshoe cats are recognized by their distinctive markings on their legs, which resemble "snowshoes," hence the name. They have a short, soft coat that is usually white with dark markings on the back, face, and ears. They have a medium to large body structure, with proportional legs and a long, furry tail. Its head is wedge-shaped, with medium-sized ears and expressive blue eyes, which are another striking feature of the breed. They are known for their affectionate and sociable personality. It is a relatively new breed, developed in the United States in the 1960s. They are the result of crossing Siamese cats and American Shorthairs, and their distinctive appearance has been carefully selected over time. Generally healthy, but can be prone to some health conditions, such as dental and kidney problems.
