The Chinchilla Persian
The Chinchilla Persian Cat is a variant of the Persian breed, known for its long, dense and silky coat, with a silvery white color and black or gray fiber tips, creating a delicate and luminous shadow effect. They usually have large, expressive eyes, usually in shades of green or blue. The nose is usually bright pink. They appeared in the United Kingdom at the end of the 19th century. They were developed through selective crossings between Persians and short-haired Chinchilla cats. They are known for their calm, sweet and calm personality. They are affectionate and loving cats, who like to receive attention and affection. The long coat requires regular grooming to avoid tangles and knots. They are generally healthy, but may be predisposed to health problems common to long-haired breeds, such as dermatological and eye problems.
