The Pomeranian , a small version of the German Spitz, is a charming breed originating from the Pomeranian region. Despite its small size, it is confident and protective, and can act as a guard dog. He is sociable and full of personality, great for families, but should be supervised around young children. It can be territorial towards other animals, but with proper training it becomes friendly. In terms of health, it is generally robust, but can face problems such as patella dislocation and alopecia. Care includes regular brushing, bathing when necessary, dental hygiene and nail trimming. As for exercise, it needs around 40 minutes of physical activity and entertainment daily, being very active and loving to play... Did you know?
