Zélia Arbex Arts Space
Opened on December 27, 2004, the Zélia Arbex Art Space has become one of the most visited tourist attractions in Volta Redonda, attracting around 20,000 people per year. Located in Vila Santa Cecília, the cultural center is a tribute to the artist Zélia Arbex, a prominent figure in the region's art scene.
The space has 200 square meters of built area, with a metal structure and glass walls that give the environment a light and modern feel. Designed to function as three galleries in one, the space has the capacity to house more than one hundred works simultaneously, offering the public varied exhibitions ranging from painting, sculpture and photography to contemporary installations and performances.
The Zélia Arbex Space is the stage for important regional and national exhibitions, encouraging local artistic production.
