The Sagrada Familia is an iconic basilica located in Barcelona, Spain, and is considered one of the masterpieces of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Its construction began in 1882 and is still in progress, with completion forecast for the coming decades. The basilica's facade features intricate ornamental details, carvings depicting biblical scenes, and tall spiers soaring into the sky. The interior of the Sagrada Familia is equally impressive, with a spacious central nave, columns resembling tree trunks, and dazzling natural light streaming in through colorful stained glass windows. Gaudí's design for the basilica also included the construction of three additional facades, each with its own symbolic meaning: the Birth Facade, the Passion Facade and the Glory Facade... Estive com a minha família na Sagrada família, em uma viagem para comemorar o aniversário da minha filha. Adoramos a visita, já na fachada é notável os detalhes das esculturas que representam as cenas bíblicas. Já no interior tem uma nave central espaçosa com colunas que parecem troncos de árvores e a luz natural que entra através dos vitrais coloridos. Realmente é uma obra-prima da arquitetura, ela reflete a visão e o talento visionário de Antoni Gaudí. Não deixem de visitar.- by Sônia Caetano, Brasil
