Zip: The Naughty One

Zip, the adorable son of Mrs. Potts, is one of the most endearing characters in Beauty and the Beast. Transformed into a teacup due to the curse that affects the castle, he is curious, mischievous and always full of energy. Although his form is that of a small teacup, his personality is vibrant and full of life, quickly winning the hearts of Belle and the audience.
From the moment Belle arrives at the castle, Zip shows an immediate affinity with her. He is mischievous, always getting into little trouble, but with a tenderness that makes everyone adore him. His attachment to Belle is instant, and he sees her as a friendly and welcoming figure, which leads him to establish a relationship of affection and companionship with the young girl.
Despite his diminutive and childish appearance, Zip plays an important role within the dynamics of the castle.
