Life is a dream painted in watercolor

1.038 / 5.000 Dragões da Real revealed that its theme for Carnival 2025 will be Life is a dream painted in watercolor, bringing a playful approach to the cycle of life. Inspired by the verses of the classic song Aquarela, by Toquinho, the school promises to thrill the public with a parade full of colors, poetry and fantasy.
The project was developed by the experienced carnival designer Jorge Freitas, responsible for several achievements in the São Paulo Carnival, and by the scriptwriter Raphael Villares. The duo worked to transform the avenue into a large moving screen, where dreams come to life through samba and art.
With this plot, Dragões da Real seeks to enchant Anhembi and reinforce its identity marked by impactful parades and engaging narratives.

Inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, the group has established itself as a symbol of peace, parading in its white robes and blue turbans on the streets of the capital of Bahia. Today, Filhos de Gandhy is recognized as the largest afoxé in the world by the Guinness Book and a cultural heritage of Bahia.
In the parade, Colorado promises to unite tradition, luxury and emotion, exalting the strength of Afro-Brazilian rhythms and taking a message of spirituality and resistance to the avenue. The expectation is for a show marked by colors, percussion and representation, extolling Afro culture on the biggest stage of samba.
