December 11 day of the Junior Chamber
December 11 day of the Junior Chamber, celebrates the importance of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) and its members in the training of young leaders and agents of social change. JCI was founded in 1915, in St. Louis, Missouri, by Henry Giessenbier, as an association aimed at young entrepreneurs. Since then, the organization has grown and become an international network, representing more than 100 countries and nearly 200,000 members. Its mission is to inspire young people to take initiatives that positively impact their communities and contribute to a more just and equal world. The National Junior Chamber Day was instituted to recognize the efforts and contributions of young members in local and international projects.
