18 November European Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse . This day was established to raise awareness of the importance of protecting children from all forms of exploitation and abuse, including sexual exploitation, child trafficking and violence. The celebration of this day aims to mobilize governments, non-governmental organizations, educators and society in general to protect children's rights and to promote a safe and healthy environment for their development. In many countries, awareness-raising campaigns, educational events and activities are carried out to inform communities about the risks children face and how to prevent and combat these crimes.
