November 5th is Redheads
November 5th is Redheads Day, to recognize and value the beauty of people with red hair. The event dates back to 2005, when artist and activist Jodie Foster, a redhead, created the date to unite people with this coloration and promote acceptance and pride in their characteristics. In addition to being a day of celebration, the event serves as a platform to discuss issues faced by the redhead community, such as bullying and discrimination. Many cosmetic brands take advantage of the date to launch products specifically for redheads, meeting the needs of this community. The day is celebrated with festivals, parades and competitions, where participants can have fun and connect.
