Jota Quest is a Brazilian pop rock band, originally from Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais. Over the years, its members have performed in many different ways. Among the most peculiar is the one seen right at the beginning of the group, when they wore Black Power wigs to honor the artists who inspired them. This choice of wearing wigs refers to the musical style that most pleases them, black music. Tim Maia was even the godfather of the band in the beginning.
