Saint John Chrysostom
Saint John Chrysostom , whose name means "Golden Mouth", was born around 347 AD in Antioch, Syria. He stood out as one of the main Church Fathers of early Christianity. Known for his eloquence and rhetorical skills, he became Archbishop of Constantinople. His defense of the poor and his denunciation of corruption earned him the respect and admiration of many. Saint John Chrysostom is remembered for his powerful sermons and theological writings, which addressed moral and spiritual issues. He died in 407 AD, and his liturgical feast is celebrated on September 13th . His influence continues to be felt in Christian theology and spirituality.
