The Day of Saint Moses the Prophet is celebrated on September 4th . Although not officially canonized, he is recognized as a holy patriarch by the Catholic Church. Born in Egypt, he was adopted by the pharaoh's daughter, but fled after killing an Egyptian. In the desert, God spoke to him through a burning bush, commanding him to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. He led the Exodus, leading the Israelites through the desert for 40 years and receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. Although he died before entering the Promised Land, his life was marked by events such as the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt, the plagues sent by God and his leadership as mediator between the people and God. Receiving the Ten Commandments, he became a mediator between God and the people, leaving a lasting legacy of faith and leadership.
