The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series developed by Frank Darabont and based on the comic book series of the same name. Starring Andrew Lincoln as Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. The plot features Rick falling into a coma after being shot in a police chase and waking up weeks later in an abandoned hospital. Upon exiting, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by the undead. After meeting Morgan Jones (Lennie James) and his son Duane, who explains to him about the new world, he decides to go to Atlanta after his wife Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and his son Carl (Chandler Riggs), where he finds himself a possible refugee center. Arriving there on horseback, he realizes that the city is empty and completely dominated by the dead. The meat used in the scenes where zombies devour humans is made from hams soaked in vinegar...
