In 2012, during the tournament in Busan, South Korea, Australian Samuel Groth recorded the fastest serve ever documented by the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals), reaching an incredible 263 km/h. In the same match, Groth also managed to fit in two more powerful serves, with speeds of 253 km/h and 255 km/h. Among women, the fastest serve record belongs to the German Sabine Lisicki, who reached a speed of 211 km/h during the Stanford Tournament, in the United States, in 2014.
