November 25th is Godmother
November 25th is Godmother 's Day, celebrating the female figure often considered a second mother. Traditionally, parents choose a godmother and a godfather to take on the responsibility of caring for the child, in case something happens that prevents the parents from doing so. This figure is found in various cultures and religions, always linked to protection and family guidance. In Brazil, godmothers are affectionately called "dinda", "dindinha" or "mãezinha" by their godchildren. While Godmother's Day is celebrated on November 25th, godfathers have their date on January 30th. This occasion is an opportunity to show gratitude and affection for these very important figures in people's lives.
