November 17th is Prostate Cancer Awareness
November 17th is Prostate Cancer Awareness Day. This date is part of the global Movember campaign, which takes place during the month of November and aims to raise awareness and educate the population, especially men, about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of prostate cancer and other men's health issues, such as mental health and suicide prevention. The day was created with the aim of drawing attention to prostate cancer, one of the most common diseases among men. The Movember movement began in 2003 in Australia, where a group of friends grew mustaches during the month of November to promote men's health. Since then, Movember has become a global movement and includes raising awareness about several men's health issues, including prostate cancer.
