Luan Santana's second live album, Ao Vivo no Rio (2011), was a huge success and spawned five singles, all reaching number one on the Billboard Brasil singles chart. In 2012, the singer released his second studio album, entitled Quero Chega a Noite, which earned him his second Latin Grammy nomination. The album also reached number one on the ABPD album chart and had the main hits "Você de Mim Não Sai", "Nêga" and "Incondicional". The following year, Luan released his first extended play (EP), called Te Esperando. The title track of the EP became a big hit on the radio, reaching the first position among the most performed in Brazil.
