This date celebrates the Pastoral da Criança, a social action organization of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB), founded in 1983, which works to assist children through volunteer community leaders. On this day, we honor these leaders who practice solidarity, contributing to a more just world by offering guidance on health, education and child development, helping to ensure the well-being of children and pregnant women.
