Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a 1986 American film directed by John Hughes. However, at the end of the day, when he is confronted by Principal Cameron, Ferris is repentant and admits his mistake. The film offers subtle lessons about living intensely and taking responsibility. It has come to be considered a classic of contemporary American cinema. John Hughes wrote the script in just two days, and it featured several impromptu scenes from the actors.
